Job summary

Network for Hope (NFH) is seeking a Donation Support Services Coordinator (DSSC) to be on the front lines of life-saving organ, eye, and tissue donation. You will serve as the first contact between hospitals, donor families, and clinical partners, guiding the donation process with care and precision.

In this role, you will evaluate referrals in real time, support families through the donation journey, coordinate logistics, and collaborate with clinical teams in time-sensitive situations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or medical-related certification preferred.
• Experience: Call center, EMS dispatch, social work, nursing, or medical assistant roles desirable; strong typing and data entry; ability to multitask; experience with multi-line phone systems; knowledge of critical care medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate referrals for potential donors in real time.
• Communicate with donor families to discuss tissue and eye donation opportunities, obtain consent, and document accurately.
• Coordinate logistics for organ, tissue, and eye donations.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support time-sensitive decision-making.
• Communicate with compassion, clarity, and precision.
• Document and track critical information in fast-paced environments.
