Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Service Technician II focusing on Life Safety Services. You will install, inspect, test and maintain life safety systems for established customers on a scheduled basis.

This role requires on-site work, strong mechanical aptitude, and adherence to NFPA/OSHA standards. Responsibilities include conducting service calls, performing system testing, providing on-site troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate documentation for invoicing and customer records.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 certifications in a fire protection related field.
• Experience with life safety systems installation and maintenance.
• Current motor vehicle license with good driving record.
• Commercial Driver's License if carrying hazardous materials.
• Must pass drug, alcohol, background checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service calls and test life safety systems.
• Install and/or maintain life safety equipment (Fire Alarm, detection, gas, foam, etc.).
• Prepare technician worksheets and reports in a timely manner.
• On-site troubleshooting and maintenance of Life Safety Systems.
• Ensure proper documentation for invoicing and records.
• Adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.
