Job summary

Vallen is seeking an On-site Service Technician II within the Safety Services group. You will perform inspections, testing, maintenance and repairs on life safety equipment for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Responsibilities include conducting service calls, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with NFPA and OSHA standards while maintaining safety and accuracy in all reports and invoicing materials.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 Certifications (manufacturer/state) in a related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years related experience.
• Mechanically inclined with good hand tools.
• Strong communication skills and customer service focus.
• Experience in Inspection, Testing, Maintenance and Repair of Life Safety Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service calls and inspections of life safety equipment.
• Identify equipment discrepancies and document findings.
• Prepare accurate Technician Worksheets (TWS) and reports.
• Service, test, maintain and repair life safety equipment (fire extinguishers, hoses, gas detectors, respiratory gear, etc.).
• Provide proper documentation for invoicing and compliance.
