Kemper is expanding its life insurance sales team in Bessemer, AL, offering a full-time, field-based role focused on presenting protection plans to local families. You will visit current and prospective customers, collect premiums, and close new policy sales after completing the licensing process.

New agents start with a paid training period, then manage an existing book of business with commission on premiums and sales. The role rewards performance with additional incentives and trips.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance coverage.
• Dependable vehicle for daily travel.
• Must be able to pass background check, MVR, and drug screen.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sales presentations and close new policy sales.
• Prospect for new sales opportunities.
• Maintain relationships and collect premiums per pre-arranged schedule.
• Respond to service requests (beneficiary changes, claims, loans).
• Record keeping and processing policy paperwork.
