Job summary

Kemper is seeking a Life Insurance Sales Agent in St. Louis, Missouri. This full-time field role involves delivering life insurance products through direct home visits, collecting premiums, and addressing client service needs.

New agents participate in a paid training period to study for licensing exams. After licensing, you’ll manage an existing book of business with commissions on premiums and new sales, with performance-based growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must hold a valid driver's license with auto insurance.
• Must have dependable vehicle for daily travel.
• Ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales.
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule that you determine.
• Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork.
• Grow the assigned territory through new sales.
• Build strong working relationships with customers.
• Devote the time necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
• Pursue continuous professional development in insurance products and sales effectiveness.
