Job summary

Kemper Corporation is hiring a Life Insurance Sales Agent in a field role. You will visit customers, present products, and collect premiums while building an assigned book of business. Training covers licensing exams, with advancements after licensing based on performance and a pay-for-performance compensation model.

Qualified candidates have customer-service experience, are 18+, possess a valid driver's license, and can pass background checks and screenings. Field travel is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales.
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule that you determine.
• Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork.
