Job summary

The Misch Group in California is seeking an IMO Business Development/Unified Wholesaler for Life & Annuities. This hybrid role blends business development leadership with carrier liaison responsibilities to drive significant net premium growth across the U.S., leveraging advisor networks.

You will recruit and onboard advisors (RIAs, independent agents, financial planners), support case strategy with carriers, and help advisors grow their practices around the firm's value proposition.

Qualifications

• Experience with a General Agency/IMO/FMO/BGA or carrier wholesaler
• Strong understanding of HNW planning and complex case strategy
• Experience as Life insurance producer or advisor preferred
• Life insurance license preferred

Responsibilities

• Advisor Acquisition: recruit and onboard advisors and agencies.
• Premium Growth: expand advisor network and drive L&A premium growth for HNW advisors.
• Strategic Support: act as intermediary between advisors and carriers, providing case strategy and product alignment.
• Practice Development: help advisors grow their practices with the firm value proposition.
