Job summary

WSP USA seeks a LiDAR Technician III Project Coordinator/QA/QC to support Mobile LiDAR and Geospatial/Surveying tasks. Based in one of several U.S. office locations, responsibilities include project setup, data classification, QA/QC review, and ensuring data accuracy to meet project standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with Mobile LiDAR.
• Ability to work independently and in a diverse team.
• Working knowledge of surveying mathematics and land surveying procedures.
• Proficient with Bentley, Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set up projects with processing and extraction teams; build seed files and cell libraries.
• Coordinate QA/QC activities across the team.
• Prepare final deliverables and client reports.
• Identify efficient workflows with project managers.
• Mentor and train new extractors as the department grows.
• Maintain SOP documentation and stay current with software updates.
• Assist with R&D of alternative workflows and software.
