Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a LiDAR Technician III Project Coordinator/QA/QC to support Mobile LiDAR and Geospatial/Surveying across multiple North American offices. You will aid with project setup, data classification, feature extraction, QA/QC reviews, and preparing deliverables with attention to data accuracy and project standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience with Mobile LiDAR.
• Proficient in Bentley software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience with TopoDot, TerraSolid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with and QA/QC other team members extraction efforts.
• Prepare final deliverables and reports.
• Work with project managers to identify workflows for each job to maximize efficiency.
• Mentor and train new extractors as department grows.
• Maintain standard operating procedure documentation.
• Stay current with industry software updates.
• Function as team lead for project managers and other LiDAR team members.
• Create and review digital models and mapping of LiDAR projects.
• Assist with client interactions to meet scope requirements.
