Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a LiDAR Technician III Project Coordinator/QA/QC to support Mobile LiDAR and Geospatial/Surveying. This role will coordinate project setup, data classification, feature extraction, and QA/QC to ensure data accuracy and adherence to project standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years' experience with Mobile LiDAR.
• Ability to work independently and in a diverse team.
• Knowledge of surveying mathematics and surveying practices.
• Proficiency in Bentley software; MS Office suite.
• Experience with TopoDot and TerraSolid preferred.
• ASPRS certification preferred; driving license required.
• Strong communication and safety discipline.

Responsibilities

• Set up projects with processing and extraction teams and project managers.
• Coordinate QA/QC and ensure data accuracy and project standards.
• Prepare final deliverables and client reports.
• Develop workflows to maximize efficiency for each job.
• Mentor new extractors and maintain SOP documentation.
• Stay current with software updates and contribute to R&D.
• Lead LiDAR registration and extraction for the team when needed.
• Review Mobile LiDAR control data and create/review digital models.
