Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a LiDAR Technician III Project Coordinator/QA/QC to support our Mobile LiDAR and Geospatial/Surveying teams. The role can be based in Mooresville, Raleigh, or other NC/GA/SC offices and involves data accuracy, workflow optimization, and cross-team collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Mobile LiDAR, strong surveying knowledge, and proficiency with Bentley and TopoDOT. This position offers growth and a balanced work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Mobile LiDAR experience required.
• Proficient with Bentley software and MS Office suite.
• Strong surveying math knowledge and field operations.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• ASPRS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up projects with seed files and cell libraries.
• QA/QC data and coordinate with team members.
• Prepare final deliverables and reports.
• Identify efficient workflows for each job.
• Mentor new extractors as the department grows.
• Maintain SOP documentation and stay updated on software.
• Lead LiDAR registration and extraction with project managers.
• Review Mobile LiDAR control data and generate models.
