Job summary

WSP seeks a LiDAR Technician III Project Coordinator/QA/QC to support Mobile LiDAR and Geospatial/Surveying. The role includes project setup, data classification, feature extraction, QA/QC review, and ensuring data accuracy across multiple offices including Merrimack NH.

You will mentor junior extractors, maintain SOPs, and collaborate with project managers to optimize workflows while complying with safety and company policies. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience with Mobile LiDAR.
• Ability to work independently, and as part of a diverse team.
• Knowledge of surveying mathematics, land surveying practices and procedures.
• Proficient in Bentley software.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Experience with field operations and office operations.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience with TopoDot, TerraSolid software preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate.
• Self-leadership with attention to detail and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Set up projects with processing and extraction teams and project managers.
• Coordinate QA/QC of extraction efforts and prepare final deliverables.
• Mentor and train new extractors as the department grows.
• Maintain SOP documentation and stay updated with software changes.
• Review LiDAR data and assist with clients to meet scope of work requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and technicians on tasks.
• Travel as project requires.
