Job summary

Dept of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) in Virginia is seeking a Licensing Systems Support Specialist to serve as a technical resource, resolving defects, implementing changes, and developing operational processes for the EAGLES licensing system.

You will provide board staff support, assist with training, test system changes, and participate in modernization efforts to improve licensing data accuracy and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of DPOR's current licensing system (EAGLES).
• Working knowledge of Board Regulations, application requirements, and business processes.
• Ability to analyze issues, request system changes, test solutions, and resolve problems.
• Ability to accurately record data and licensing changes in an automated licensing system.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to train board staff and provide user support.

Responsibilities

• Resolves licensing system defects and helps implement changes in EAGLES.
• Manages resolution of licensing application system defects and operational processes.
• Provides operational support to board staff and users for entity merges, education changes, and license updates.
• Evaluates defects and change requests using knowledge of the licensing system.
• Assists in testing system changes to ensure expected functionality.
• Supports training for board staff on system usage.
• Contributes to modernization efforts of the agency's licensing system.
