TotalMed, a healthcare staffing agency and MSP, seeks a Licensing Paralegal to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to plan, execute and monitor regulatory activities and license renewals across the organization.
You will assist with data privacy initiatives, state licensure, and internal policies, while maintaining awareness of the organization’s structure and authority lines.
As relates to the enterprise's role as a healthcare staffing agency and managed service provider, Licensing Paralegal ensures organizational compliance with applicable legal standards. including all relevant federal and state regulations, licensure, regulatory filings and reporting. This role establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external resources. This position will plan and execute the activities required for the Risk team as it pertains to Licensing and Regulatory compliance initiatives, policies, and procedures and designated projects.
The Licensing paralegal works with various stakeholders across functional areas to meet compliance objectives.

1+ years of research experience. analyzing. summarizing and guiding the implementation of compliance-related regulations
1+ year reviewing, implementing. and/or providing regulatory, compliance, certification or licensing compliance within a corporate or organization framework Excellent written and verbal skills; high level of comfort facilitating conversations with organizational leaders
Highly developed research and analytical skills
Proficient in MS office, and other methods of communication such as state portals, software, and electronic communication methods.
Ability to adapt and willingness to work on a variety of matters, initiatives and projects
Ability to collaborate and build partnerships with several business units in the company
Extremely detail oriented and ability to work independently
Highly motivated self-starter who excels in a fast-paced, short deadlines
Will consider a suitable combination of education, training/experience.
$29.00 per hour
