Job summary

TotalMed, a healthcare staffing agency and MSP, seeks a Licensing Paralegal to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to plan, execute and monitor regulatory activities and license renewals across the organization.

You will assist with data privacy initiatives, state licensure, and internal policies, while maintaining awareness of the organization’s structure and authority lines.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of research experience and ability to analyze, summarize and guide compliance implementations.
• Excellent written and verbal skills; comfortable engaging with organizational leaders.
• Highly developed research and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and digital communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of regulatory matters across federal, state and local levels.
• Assist organizational activities to ensure compliance with regulations, accreditation and internal policies.
• Lead or assist coordination of enterprise initiatives (e.g., data privacy, licensure).
• Understand organizational structure, internal audit policies and procedures.
• Manage license renewals, state fees, data calls and regulatory inquiries as needed.
• Represent risk/compliance on projects and meetings.
