State of Washington's WDFW Region 6 Montesano office seeks a Customer Service Specialist 2 to assist the public with licenses, policies, and program information. You will handle in-person, phone, and email inquiries, ensuring accurate guidance and efficient license processing.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 6 months of customer service experience; associates or higher degrees are preferred. Office and field support may be required.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Six (6) months of customer service experience.
• Preferred: associate/bachelor/master degree or vocational certification.
• Experience with WILD system and licensing processes.
• Ability to explain hunting/fishing regulations to the public.

Aufgaben

• Interpret agency policies and advise hunters, fishers, and the public with examples.
• Explain license types, options, and sell licenses using cash or card.
• Balance tills and resolve discrepancies with Licensing staff.
• Resolve customer inquiries and coordinate with program staff on outcomes.
• Provide IT and office support to regional staff and process OPFs.
• Assist with archival projects and update program information and hotlines.
