Job summary

The NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) seeks a Clerical Associate to support licensing operations in the Licensing Division. This permanent civil service role may allow remote work up to 2 days weekly under the Flexible Work Pilot Program.

You will review applications, perform routine data processing, and provide high-volume customer service to licensing applicants in person and by phone.

Qualifications

• Four-year high school diploma or equivalent approved by a State DOE or accrediting organization.
• One year of satisfactory clerical experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and process applications for DOHMH licenses and related information.
• Perform clerical tasks such as data processing, record keeping, and information requests.
• Provide high-volume customer service in person and by phone.
• Assist applicants with outreach to other city agencies and interagency communication.
