Job summary

QBE North America is seeking a licensing and appointment coordinator in Madison, WI. This hybrid role requires in-office presence 2-3 days a week to manage end-to-end licensing for agents and agencies while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will mentor teammates, review background checks, and collaborate with legal/compliance and business stakeholders to resolve licensing issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate licensing and appointment activities across distribution partners with emphasis on accuracy and compliance.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to teammates to strengthen licensing practices.
• Review background investigations for disqualifying factors and advise on next steps.
• Monitor state and federal requirements, update processes to improve compliance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership, legal/compliance, and stakeholders to resolve licensing issues.
• Offer feedback to IT partners to improve data quality and workflow efficiency.
• Identify gaps, propose improvements, and support system enhancements.
• Develop and execute audit activities focused on remediation and risk reduction.
• Mentor teammates to ensure consistency in licensing practices.
• Coordinate work allocation for shared services or offshore teams to meet SLAs.
