Job summary

TruStage in Madison, WI seeks a Compliance professional to deliver high quality regulatory services across life insurance and related products. You will research laws, assess risk, educate partners, and support regulatory examinations with a flexible, hybrid team.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in insurance compliance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage projects with minimal supervision while collaborating across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance or related field or equivalent related experience.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance, business or government regulations/compliance or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to perform technical research and analysis of laws and regulations and apply them to company operations, products and marketing.
• Demonstrated organization and project management skills.
• Ability to work with limited direction, set priorities and manage deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality compliance services to clients through research, analysis and training.
• Collaborate, educate and advise business partners on risk identification and mitigation.
• Lead small projects with manageable risks and resources.
• Review products and marketing materials for compliance with applicable law.
• Provide regulatory submissions and forms preparation to meet requirements.
• Develop and implement training/education programs.
• Assist with regulatory examinations, data calls, audits and inquiries.
• Monitor programs and identify regulatory risks across product lines.
