Dahl Consulting is seeking licensed Voluntary Benefits Enrollment Advisors to support employees during the annual open enrollment season. This fully remote role focuses on service and education, guiding employees through benefit options with empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities include answering inbound calls, educating on voluntary benefits, assisting enrollments, and maintaining confidentiality. Schedule aligns with Eastern Time with overtime during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Active Life and Health Insurance License in any U.S. state
• Previous customer service, call center, benefits administration, healthcare, insurance, or related experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to explain complex information clearly
• Confidential handling of employee information
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume phone environment

Job description

Title: Licensed Voluntary Benefits Enrollment Advisor-Remote

Location: Remote

Job Type: Contract (5 Months)

Compensation: $20 - $22/hr

Industry: Insurance

Schedule: Must be able to work from 8am-6pm EST, in mid October candidates must be able to work 4-5 hours overtime. After open enrollment the role will go back to 40 hours per week. In January, candidates will have another opportunity for overtime.

Our client, a leading employee benefits consulting organization specializing in voluntary benefits, group insurance programs, and benefits education, is seeking Licensed Voluntary Benefits Enrollment Advisors to support employees during the annual open enrollment season. This organization partners with some of the nation's largest employers and is committed to helping employees make informed decisions about their benefit options through exceptional service and education. This is a fully remote opportunity for customer-focused professionals who are passionate about helping others. Advisors serve as an extension of Human Resources teams, guiding employees through benefit enrollment and answering questions with empathy, patience, and professionalism. This is a service-focused role with no sales responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Active Life and Health Insurance License in any U.S. state
• Previous customer service, call center, benefits administration, healthcare, insurance, or related experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to explain complex information in a clear and easy-to-understand manner
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume phone environment
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Personal computer/laptop capable of supporting remote work technology (PC preferred)
• Dedicated, professional workspace free from distractions
• Ability to work required Eastern Time business hours and overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting open enrollment or employee benefits programs
• Experience assisting customers with insurance or voluntary benefits questions
• Professional experience within the insurance, benefits, healthcare, or HR industries
• Familiarity with enrollment platforms and remote customer support tools
• Experience working with large employer-sponsored benefit programs
• Bilingual language skills

Schedule & Work Environment

Fully remote position available anywhere within the United States. Must be available to work between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Eastern Time. Standard schedule is approximately 40 hours per week. Overtime required during peak enrollment periods, particularly Mid-October through open enrollment peak season. Additional overtime opportunities in January. Extended shifts may run until approximately 8:00 PM Eastern Time during high-volume periods. Candidates must provide their own computer and reliable high-speed internet connection.
