Job summary

LensCrafters at Macy's is seeking a Store Manager to lead the marketplace and LensCrafters organization, driving market share, topline and profitability while delivering a superior customer experience in the local community.

You will recruit and coach a high-performing team, manage store operations and expenses, implement visual standards, and collaborate with Doctors of Optometry on business planning. A retail leadership background and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 4+ years management/supervisory experience.
• State licensure.
• A proven track record of delivering results and positive growth.
• Excellent business and financial acumen including operational analysis.
• Comprehensive knowledge of retail operations, processes and policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Strong command of the English language for all correspondence.
• College degree or equivalent.
• Previous leadership position within retail and customer service.
• Knowledge of basic optics.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Drive KPIs to meet/exceed targets.
• Lead LensCrafters as the premier optical provider within the market.
• Translate retail knowledge into superior sales and business results.
• Propose and execute business plans to maximize sales and profit.
• Recruit and develop a high-caliber team and create a talent pipeline for succession.
• Staff the store following workforce guidelines and ensure appropriate talent levels.
• Ensure safety program compliance and operational policies are followed.
• Support weekend and evening business needs to meet goals.
