Small Door Inc. is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our Manhattan-area clinics. You will triage, record vitals, assist doctors, and provide compassionate care in a fast-paced, pet-friendly environment.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience as a LVT in a GP setting.
Availability to work weekends (Saturday or Sunday).
Comfortable with computers and online tools.
Capable of lifting 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Triaging
Recognizing medical emergencies and illnesses
Assessing patients
Recording vitals and assisting doctors with diagnostics
Completing treatments as instructed by the doctor
Basic husbandry and nursing care
Monitoring changes in patients and providing compassionate care
Taking blood
Placing catheters
Assisting in radiography capture
Preparing samples for external labs
Running in-house labs
Preparing medications
Administering medications
Maintaining a hospitable environment
