Small Door is a membership-based veterinary care provider with 24/7 telemedicine and a focus on stress-free experiences. We are seeking an LVT with GP experience to join our NYC team and help deliver high standards of care in a collaborative setting.

You will triage, assist doctors, perform nursing tasks, and contribute to a supportive work culture. This role offers growth opportunities, benefits, and a chance to make a real impact on pets and families.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a LVT in a GP setting.
• Availability to work weekends (Saturday or Sunday).
• Comfortable with computers and online tools.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• A thoughtful, fearless team player with strong communication.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves pets.

Responsibilities

• Triaging and assessing patients.
• Recording vitals and assisting doctors with diagnostics.
• Completing treatments as instructed by the doctor.
• Basic husbandry and nursing care.
• Monitoring changes in patients and providing compassionate care.
• Taking blood and placing catheters.
• Assisting in radiography capture and preparing samples for labs.
• Running in-house labs and preparing medications.
• Administering medications and maintaining a hospitable environment.
