Small Door in New York seeks a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) to join our GP team in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. You will triage, monitor vitals, and assist doctors with diagnostics in a modern facility with a strong doctor:nurse ratio.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Licensed Vet Technician in a GP setting.
• Availability to work weekends (Saturday or Sunday).
• Comfortable with computers and online tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Collaborative, patient‑centered team player.
• Strong communication with clients and the public.

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients and recognizing medical emergencies.
• Recording vitals and assisting doctors with diagnostics.
• Completing treatments as instructed by the doctor.
• Performing in-house labs and preparing samples for reference labs.
• Assisting with radiography and sample preparation.
• Administering medications and preparing medications.
• Maintaining a hospitable environment for patients and clients.
