Small Door Veterinary is seeking a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) to join our patient‑focused GP team. You’ll triage, monitor vitals, assist doctors with diagnostics, and provide compassionate care in a modern, low‑stress clinic environment.

This role requires weekend availability, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort with computers and online tools. You’ll work with radiography, labs, and medications to support Fear Free, AAHA‑accredited care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) with GP experience.
• Availability to work weekends (Saturday or Sunday).
• Comfortable with computers and online tools.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• A thoughtful and fearless team player.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and communicates well with clients.

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients and assisting with urgent care as needed.
• Recording vitals and assisting doctors with diagnostics.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and essential documentation.
• Administering medications and preparing samples for labs.
• Handling basic husbandry and nursing care.
• Assisting in radiography and imaging procedures.
• Monitoring patient changes and providing compassionate care.
