American Cruise Lines seeks Third Mates to join our fleet operating on inland and coastal waterways across the United States. You will participate in watch standing, vessel operations, and onboard service while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualified candidates hold a U.S. Coast Guard Master license (100 GRT min, Near Coastal endorsement) and have 6 months to 1 year piloting experience. This full-time role includes shipboard assignments with comprehensive simulator-based training.

• Licensed maritime officer with U.S. Coast Guard Master license (≥100 GRT) near coastal endorsement.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
• Pre-employment drug testing and ongoing random testing.”

Responsabilités

• Ensure safety and security of passengers, crew, and vessel.
• Perform safe launch operations in compliance with standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of vessel spaces.
• Stand helm, security, and gangway watches in rotation.
• Perform vessel cleaning, sanitation, maintenance, and logistics tasks.
• Stand piloting watches under Captain or Mate.
• Assist Engine Room Attendant with machinery maintenance.
• Support hotel and culinary teams in delivering five-star guest service.
• Maintain logs, reports, and records.
• Maintain professional grooming and uniform appearance.
