Job summary

Sterling Therapy Providers is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to plan and supervise speech therapy programs, support communication and swallowing skills, and promote patient rehabilitation within our facility.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure eligibility, ASHA CCC eligibility, and strong organizational and communication skills. This on-site role offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Master’s Level Speech Language curriculum certified by ASHA.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as required in the state.
• Eligible for ASHA CCC from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents, develops goals and plans, documents therapy and progress.
• Coordinates adaptive communication devices and trains residents.
• Selects activities suited to individual capacity and interests.
• Consults with rehabilitation team to choose regimens.
• Instructs on skills for participation and evaluates progress.
• Adapts program to needs of each resident.
• Attends resident care and related meetings.
• Conducts training programs for staff in speech therapy techniques.
• Supervises supportive personnel per standards.
• Maintains and reports need for repair of equipment.
• Ensures high quality service in compassionate atmosphere.
