Job summary

Sterling Therapy Providers is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to organize and conduct speech/language programs within our facility, promoting rehabilitation and communication skills.

The role requires Master’s level training in speech-language pathology, state licensure or eligibility, and CCC eligibility. You will collaborate with the rehab team and supervise supportive staff while delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Master’s Level Speech Language curriculum certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state.
• Eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents, develops treatment goals and methods, implements the speech therapy plan and documents services.
• Coordinates acquisition of adaptive communication devices and instructs residents in their use.
• Selects appropriate activities suited to individual’s capacity and interest.
• Consults with rehabilitation team to select the best therapeutic regimen.
• Instructs residents in skills for participation and evaluates progress and attitudes.
• Adapts program to residents’ needs.
• Attends and contributes to resident care meetings.
• Conducts training and participates in staff development in speech therapy techniques.
• Supervises supportive personnel per standards.
• Maintains and reports on equipment condition and needs.
• Ensures residents and families receive high-quality, compassionate service.
