Job summary

FullShift Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to support patients with communication, swallowing, and cognitive disorders in a SNF setting. The role focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders to improve patient outcomes.

You will perform patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, document progress, and participate in care planning with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff. Compliance with policy and quality standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience providing speech-language pathology services in a clinical or SNF setting.
• Ability to develop and implement treatment plans and goals.
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of patient care, including evaluation, treatment planning, goal setting, and documentation.
• Provide professional SLP treatment for speech, language, swallowing, oral motor, and cognitive disorders.
• Plan and deliver therapies for speech and language disorders and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with occupational or physical therapists, physicians, and other care team members.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, Plan of Care, and discharge summaries in a timely manner.
• Ensure delivery of quality rehab services and adherence to policies and compliance.
