Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in the United States seeks a Social Services professional to support the Director in meeting residents' emotional and social needs in our skilled nursing facility. You will help plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Social Services operations in accordance with standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a current state social work license where required, and experience in long-term care and behavioral health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current, unencumbered Social Work license in the applicable state.
• Experience in Long Term Care and behavioral health preferred.
• Healthcare experience in social services or hospitality is preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English and follow verbal/written instructions.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to assist the Director to ensure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis. You will assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the community’s Social Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures.Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Social Services Policies and Procedures.

Education and Qualifications:

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Social Work within the state in which you work, if required by state/federal regulations.
• Must have experience in Long Term Care as well as behavioral health
• Experience working in healthcare, either social services, direct care or hospitality, is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• At least one (1) year of supervised experience in a healthcare setting working directly with individuals preferred.

Shift & Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: 7:30a - 4:00p
• Wage: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
