Job summary

The Behavioral Health Clinician - Licensed SBHC is a licensed independent Behavioral Health provider who supports students and their families as a CHC employee in a school based clinic and performs diagnostic psychosocial evaluations, develops care plan with clients and their families, offers individual, family, or group therapy as appropriate, and collaborates with psychiatric and/or medical providers who are part of the client's care team.

Qualifications

• Licensure/certification in behavioral health (LCSW/LMFT/LPC or psychologist) is required or eligible for associate licensure with ability to obtain full licensure within 3 years.
• Minimum of two years of outpatient clinical experience, including work with children and/or adults.
• Written and verbal bilingual fluency in English; bilingual (e.g., English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes diagnostic psychosocial evaluations and develops care plans with clients and families.
• Provides individual, family, or group therapy and coordinates with a multidisciplinary care team.
• Runs multiple therapy groups weekly and documents interventions per policy and Joint Commission standards.
• Coordinates with psychiatric/medical providers for diagnostic and medication management needs.
• Performs crisis interventions, safety assessments, and develops treatment plans; monitors progress toward goals.
• Maintains timely documentation, reports, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
