The Behavioral Health Clinician II is a licensed independent provider who performs diagnostic psychosocial evaluations, develops care plans with clients and families, and offers individual, family, or group therapy as appropriate, collaborating with psychiatric and medical providers as part of the client’s care team.

Qualifications

• Completes initial behavioral health evaluations and develops care plans.
• Delivers individual, group and family therapy as appropriate.
• Collaborates with psychiatric and medical providers as part of the care team.

Responsibilities

• Completes all required documentation per state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and CHC policies.
• Maintains after-hours Behavioral Health On-Call duties.
• Supervises unlicensed Behavioral Health staff as assigned.
• Assists with crisis interventions and safety planning as needed.
• Engages family members to support treatment goals and recovery.
• Attends team meetings and supports quality clinical care.
