Job summary

Elite Home Health, part of LHC Group, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensed to practice in Arkansas to provide home-based therapy and patient education under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

You will perform treatment, instruct patients and families, and document responses while complying with state laws and the plan of care. This role offers flexible PRN hours, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package when eligible.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in Arkansas.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing home care physical therapy and execute treatment as defined by the supervising PT.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and transfer training.
• Observes, records, and reports patient response and coordinates care with the health care team.
• Instructs patient and family in therapy within the PTA scope.
• Function in diverse home settings regardless of patient demographics.
