Job summary

Ellen Memorial Rehabilitation and Health Care Center seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide resident care at Ellen Memorial Lane, Honesdale, PA. Both part-time and full-time shifts are available, with day shifts and every other weekend options. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Responsibilities include medication administration, records management, and patient care under state regulations. Applicants must hold a valid LPN license and will work within the LPN scope of practice,

Responsibilities

• Understand and operate within the LPN Scope of Practice.
• Maintain familiarity with resident records and documents.
• Evaluate health emergencies and determine emergency medical measures to be taken regarding resident care according to state regulations.
• Assist with activities of daily living, administration of medication, treatments and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations.
• Provide services as indicated on resident care plans.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Attend facility in-services.
• Additional duties as assigned.
