Job summary

Mcarthur Health Care Center in Ohio seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time day shift (6am-6pm) to support residents and the caregiving team. You will perform assessments, admissions, discharges, and wound care, while guiding CNAs and CMTs and ensuring adherence to facility protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, follow protocol, report medical or behavioral changes, and document findings.
• Perform admission duties: complete assessment, MAR, TAR, POS, review chart set-up, physician orders, and order medications.
• Manage discharges: complete documentation, notify physician and guardian, and arrange transportation.
• Provide wound care: follow protocols, irrigate, pack, and remove dressings.
• Lead CNAs and CMTs, ensuring compliance with facility protocols and policies.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations.
