Job summary

Water's Edge at Port Jefferson for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team in East Shoreham, NY. We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus and daily pay options to provide flexible cash flow for our staff.

The LPN will administer medications (including IVs), monitor vital signs, deliver direct resident care, educate residents and families, and coordinate with physicians, NPs and CNAs.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit.
• Medication administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcomes.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervising CNAs.
