Job summary

Water's Edge at Port Jefferson for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for residents in our Skilled and Long Term Care Units. Responsibilities include medication administration, vital signs, and coordinating with the care team.

We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus, daily pay, and a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision. Must hold an LPN license and be able to supervise CNAs and collaborate with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is preferred.
• Ability to supervise CNAs and coordinate with physicians and the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for residents in the Skilled Unit and Long Term Care Unit.
• Administer medications, including IVs.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Provide resident care and monitor outcomes.
• Educate residents and families.
