Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our memory care team in Syracuse, NY. Schedule is full-time, 3pm-11pm, with shift differential for night and weekend shifts.

The starting pay is $27.00–$32.00/hr based on experience, with generous benefits including PTO, holidays, health insurance, 401(k) with company match, and more. A current LPN license and at least one year serving seniors are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse with a current license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of experience working as a nurse serving a senior population.
• Compassion for and desire to work with elderly, required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Assist resident with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed.
• Assist in monitoring medication programs.
• Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents.
• Monitor and report any resident changes in condition in accordance with and rules and regulations and PSL policies.
