Peregrine Senior Living in Syracuse, NY is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time 3pm-11pm shift to join our memory care team.

Responsibilities include resident assistance with daily living activities, medication monitoring, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Requires an active LPN license and at least 1 year of elderly care experience.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of experience serving a senior population.
• Compassion for and desire to work with elderly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, hygiene).
• Assist in monitoring medication programs.
• Dispense medication according to physician orders and MAR.
• Monitor and report resident changes in condition per PSL policies.

Shift differential available for night and weekend shifts

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.

• Assist resident with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed.

• Assist in monitoring medication programs.

• Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents.

• Monitor and report any resident changes in condition in accordance with and rules and regulations and PSL policies.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Education & Experience:

• Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse with a current license in good standing.

• Minimum of one year of experience working as a nurse serving a senior population

• Compassion for and desire to work with elderly, required.
