Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living is seeking a kind and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Assisted Living team near Buffalo, NY. This part-time position offers weekend, evening, and night shift differential opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

The LPN will support residents with activities of daily living, monitor medications, and ensure compliance with residents’ rights and care plans. A current LPN license and at least one year of senior care experience are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse with a current license in good standing, required.
• Minimum of one year of experience working as a nurse serving a senior population, required.
• Compassion for and desire to work with elderly, required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Assist resident with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed.
• Assist in monitoring medication programs.
• Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents.
• Monitor and report any resident changes in condition
