Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes.

The role involves providing skilled nursing care in accordance with prescribed orders and using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Qualifications include an active LPN/LVN license in Florida, current TB or chest X-ray, and BLS certification, with one year of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state.
• TB test or Chest X-ray required.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care per orders on each assignment.
• Assess physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient''s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and document nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
