Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for Suwannee Correctional Institution in Live Oak, Florida. The LPN will deliver holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the supervision of RNs and medical staff, addressing a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

The position is nights (6PM-6:30AM) with rotating weekends, 36 hours per week. Requirements include a high school diploma/GED, an active LPN license or ability to obtain one, CPR certification, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to respond to physical and behavioral health needs.

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Suwannee Correctional Institution located in Live Oak, Florida.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
