Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Practical Nurse at Suwannee Correctional Institution in Live Oak, Florida. The LPN will deliver holistic care under supervision, addressing a range of physical and behavioral health needs for incarcerated patients.

This per diem role requires 2 weeks of Monday-FRIDAY training and possession of or ability to obtain an LPN license, CPR certification, and security clearance with background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the scope of practice under RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.

We are currently seeking a PRN Practical Nurse to join our team at Suwannee Correctional Institution located in Live Oak, Florida.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
