Job summary

Centurion is seeking a PRN Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Suwannee Correctional Institution in Live Oak, Florida. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, under the direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.

Responsibilities include responding to a range of physical and behavioral health needs, maintaining patient safety, and adhering to security and privacy protocols in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required or ability to obtain one.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.
