Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse at Suwannee Correctional Institution in Live Oak, Florida. The LPN provides holistic nursing care within scope of practice under the direction of Registered Nurses and clinical staff to address physical and behavioral health needs of incarcerated patients.

The role includes ensuring safety and quality of care, maintaining documentation, and participating in routine care plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one.
• CPR certification is required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs of patients.

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Suwannee Correctional Institution located in Live Oak, Florida.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required

• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
