Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team at Apalachee Correctional Institution in Sneads, Florida. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN and medical staff supervision.

Requirements include a Florida LPN license and CPR certification. Corrections experience is not required. The shift is days, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM EST with an every-other-weekend rotation; benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k) match, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN and medical/psychiatric staff supervision.

• Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to ensure quality patient care.

We are currently seeking a full time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Apalachee Correctional Institution located in Sneads, Florida.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications:

• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift: Days, 7AM-7:30PM EST; every other weekend rotation. 36 hours per week.
