Zusammenfassung

Community Care Physicians is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for the Schodack Internal Medicine and Pediatrics office. The 40-hour week runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. Eligible for a recruitment/retention bonus of up to $3,500, with a compensation range of $26.00 to $33.00 per hour.

The role focuses on vaccines, patient documentation, and assisting the provider with routine procedures in a busy practice. A NYS LPN license and EMR experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a valid NYS LPN license.
• Experience as LPN in medical practice or MA/PCT background.
• Proficient with EMR and basic nursing protocols.

• Administer vaccines and record them accurately.

• Maintain patient flow efficiency throughout the visit.

• Process patient prescriptions.

Our Schodack Internal Medicine and Pediatrics office is looking for a full-time LPN to join their team! This is a 40 hour week. The hours are: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e. urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations).
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Compensation

$26.00 - $33.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Valid NYS LPN license.
• Previous LPN experience in a medical practice or prior experience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech.
• Strong computer skills with experience using EMR.
• Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols.
• Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
• Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques.
