Job summary

Community Care Physicians' Schodack Internal Medicine and Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. This 40-hour week operates Monday through Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, at our Schodack office.

Responsibilities include administering vaccines, documenting patient conversations and records, maintaining smooth patient flow, preparing patients, obtaining specimens, entering orders in the lab system, and assisting with clinical procedures under the provider's direction.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS LPN license.
• Previous LPN experience in a medical practice or prior experience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech.
• Strong computer skills with experience using EMR.
• Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols.
• Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
• Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques.

This position is eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus!!

Compensation

$26.00 - $33.00 per hour
