Job summary

Community Care Physicians is seeking a full-time LPN for our Schodack Internal Medicine and Pediatrics office. This is a 40-hour week Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm.

The role includes vaccine administration, patient documentation, and supporting efficient patient flow with EMR use and various clinical procedures. Eligible for a $3,500 recruitment/retention bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• : Valid NYS LPN license.
• : Previous LPN experience in a medical practice or as MA/Patient Care Tech.
• : Strong computer skills with EMR experience.
• : Knowledge of nursing principles and infection control and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient records accurately.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate.
• Obtain specimens (urine, blood) as directed.
• Enter orders into the lab system accurately.
• Perform clinical office procedures (PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medications).
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients as instructed.

This position is eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus!!

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e. urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations).
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Compensation

$26.00 - $33.00 per hour
