Job summary

Community Care Physicians is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for Schodack Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. The position is 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm. Eligible for a recruitment and retention bonus up to $3,500.

Responsibilities include vaccines, patient documentation, and maintaining patient flow. Candidates must hold a NYS LPN license with prior clinical experience and proficiency in EMR.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS LPN license.
• Previous LPN experience in medical practice preferred.
• Experience using EMR.
• Knowledge of nursing principles and protocols.
• Knowledge of infection control practices.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Familiarity with medical chart reporting/records.
• Ability to assess patients and assist providers.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document patient conversations clearly.
• Enter patient information accurately into the chart.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patients for visits as required by staff.
• Obtain specimens as directed by the provider.
• Enter orders into the lab system accurately.
• Perform clinic procedures (PFT, EKG, nebulizer, immunizations).
• Process prescriptions for patients.
• Communicate test results per provider instructions.

Our Schodack Internal Medicine and Pediatrics office is looking for a full-time LPN to join their team! This is a 40 hour week. The hours are: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm.

This position is eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus!!

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e. urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations).
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Compensation

$26.00 - $33.00 per hour
